NIKKA BRANDY X.O DELUXE

In Japan and elsewhere, the vast majority of brandy is made from grapes, but Nikka is pleased to also offer a line of brandy distilled from apples. In France, this beverage is widely known as Calvados after the region where it originates. Nikka ferments, distills and matures its apple brandy at a distillery in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, Japan's top apple-growing region. The apple is actually a plant of the rose family (family Rosaceae), and in fact the resulting brandy contains the same element that gives roses their scent. Apple brandy is characterized by a sweet and luxurious fragrance not found in grape brandy.

With a mature and well-rounded aroma, and made from only the finest and most strictly selected ingredients aged over long periods of time, this is a top-class X.O. Deluxe brandy.
